What’s on my mind Life is hard in Sub-Saharan Africa, especially if you don’t have any parents. That’s where Esther’s House Ministries in Malawi Africa focuses their efforts. In partnership with this wonderful ministry Provision International (formerly Como International) provides education, daily meals and medical care for over 50 children.  Esther’s House has become the family in this area for those without one. Each child is placed in a family unit with a carefully screened and qualified Christian husband and wife who care for these children as if they were their own. The results have been amazing allowing children to flourish without institutionalizing them in a traditional orphanage. They also participate in going to church and learning about Jesus and are integrated into village life.

She had lost her father years ago, but only recently lost her mother due to malaria.
